I had 2 weeks off at Christmas 2016, so decided to spend them riding around Tasmania. I had bought a road bike off gumtree earlier that year had been using it to commute the 5-10 km to work. I took part in the Sydney to Wollongong ride to see if I enjoy riding longer distances and after a fun day I booked some flights. I landed in Launceston and returned from Hobart. That bit in between I’d just have to figure out later.

I completed the ride over a 750km S shape of the state on a light weight road bike. There where some seriously tough times and some fantastically fun times.
