I graduated uni in November and had a job lined up for the following February, so heading over the Patagonia for a couple of months to enjoy those last days of freedom. I was still on a high from finishing the Larapinta a few months before, so I planned to do Torres Del Paine in the south of Chile.
My Route – I completed the Q route which is the O with a walk in. Plus a summary of the campsites I stayed at.
Should You Take Poles – As far as it comes to gear I packed the same as the rest of my multiday hikes see here. But I added poles due to the insistence of the locals.
Everything Puerto Natales – A run down of food prep/shopping, ATM, information centres, places to eat, places to stay along with a couple of small trips to do before or after the hike.
Espanol? – I couldn’t speak Spanish. What’s spoken on the trail and 12 phrases to be polite.
Photos – Picture’s from my trip
